Mecum is an open-source macOS app that gives agents a desktop workspace on the Mac. Users can assign a task to a worker in the app, or connect Claude Code or Codex through MCP, to operate desktop apps even when they expose neither an API nor an accessibility tree. The user can keep using the Mac meanwhile.
