Atlas gives an AI coding agent a hidden second desktop on a Mac, where it opens apps, clicks, types and takes screenshots while the user keeps working on their own screen. It connects to Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, opencode and Pi, and lets the user watch the agent or take control at any time. The project's own benchmark reports lower context use than built-in computer-use tools, which matters because screenshots and instructions consume agent context.
