About
swe-mux is a terminal multiplexer built for running multiple coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, opencode, pi) at once, showing live per-session status (working, done, waiting on input) with searchable history and resume, and serving the same live sessions to both desktop and a phone interface. It runs real terminal sessions rather than a custom wrapper UI, so any shell or CLI works, while the desktop view adds panes, notes, files, and dev-server previews alongside the agent sessions.
Why it made the leaderboard
It lets engineers monitor and drive multiple concurrent coding-agent sessions from a phone with real terminal fidelity, including dev-server previews, something ad hoc tmux/SSH setups can't do.
