flashjson is a JSON parser for CPython with a C extension for speed and a pure-Python fallback that works without a compiler. It follows the standard library loads interface and keywords, and raises the standard decode error with the same messages. The README reports up to 5.1x the standard library speed and faster than orjson on 6 of 7 datasets, measured on one machine.
