BuildGist is a Mac app that explains each meaningful Claude Code, Cursor and Codex run in plain English, lists files changed, flags concerns such as missing permission checks, and carries the task over when the user switches agents. It needs no commit or push. To explain a run it sends only what that run needs to Anthropic, excluding unchanged files and secret-named files. It requires Apple silicon and macOS 12 or later.
