Context
A chat can acknowledge a request before it finishes the work. LangChain's Managed Deep Agents 0.9 adds configurable emoji acknowledgements to its chat integration, giving the sender a visible receipt while the agent reasons or calls tools. The release explanation describes a fixed reaction or a function that chooses one for each message.
That function can use a simple rule or call a model. Developers can therefore add an immediate acknowledgement without making every reaction depend on another AI decision.
