Lume is an open-source terminal emulator built with Rust, Tauri 2, and SolidJS that groups each command and its output into a separate block, supports split panes and tabs, and includes inline AI that can explain a command or turn plain English into a shell command using a user-supplied API key. Its distinguishing feature is remote control: scanning a QR code mirrors the live terminal session, including scrollback and shell state, onto a phone over the same network or through a self-managed Cloudflare tunnel.
