ghx is a caching proxy for the GitHub CLI aimed at AI agent workflows. A background daemon caches read-only gh command output for a configurable time, and singleflight coalescing makes concurrent identical requests share one API call, which reduces rate-limit pressure. Mutations pass through and invalidate related entries, and a local dashboard shows hit rates. The site reports 105 ms for a cache hit against 1,129 ms for direct gh.
