Claude Meter is a native macOS menu-bar app that shows a color-coded pill for Claude session (5-hour) and weekly usage limits, with live countdowns to each reset so users can avoid unexpectedly hitting rate limits. A hover card reveals exact usage percentages, reset times, and last refresh, and the pill can be positioned relative to the notch on any connected display.
Why it made the leaderboard
It gives Claude Code power users an at-a-glance, color-coded view of session and weekly usage so they stop hitting rate limits by surprise.
