About

Echo is a Windows tool that searches a user's photos by plain-English description, such as "sunset over water". It embeds images and queries with the CLIP model and matches them using a FAISS index, all on the local machine, so photos and embeddings are not sent to the cloud. A global hotkey opens a floating search panel, and a file watcher indexes new photos in added folders automatically.
