Meet Mergekit V0 1 Arcee Fusion Expanded Model Support Multi Gpu Acceleration

Arcee AI's MergeKit v0.1 release broadened the kinds of trained models whose numerical weights could be combined. The February 5, 2025 announcement added support for any architecture handled by the Transformers library and for raw PyTorch models, extending merging into areas such as image-generation, audio and computer vision models. Compatibility still had a concrete boundary: models being combined needed the same architecture and size. The expansion made the tool applicable to more model families while preserving that requirement for each individual merge.
