Introducing Browserbase Agents: One Prompt, One API Call

Context

Browserbase describes Browserbase Agents as a managed service that hosts and operates a browser for developers. Developers describe the goal and define the structure of the expected result. The service runs the browser task asynchronously, so the application starts a job and retrieves its result later.

This changes who maintains the machinery around the automation. Rather than hosting the agent's execution loop themselves, developers use Browserbase's infrastructure and inspect runs through live browser views, recordings and model/tool traces. Those records provide a way to investigate unexpected actions; the announcement's broader reliability claims are company claims, rather than published success rates.
