GPT Image 2.5 Flare and Sunburst now available on AI Gateway

Vercel added two OpenAI image models to AI Gateway, its single interface for calling models from different providers, with a choice between faster iteration and more precise editing. Its announcement positions Flare for speed and Sunburst for detailed creative control with longer generation times. Both accept reference images alongside instructions. In the supplied example, a developer passes an existing product image to the image-generation interface and asks Sunburst to change its bottle cap.
