Factory Private moves the control plane of Factory's platform for autonomous coding agents, which it calls Droids, into a customer's cloud network or on-premises environment alongside sensitive data. Factory's managed option already allows agents to run on customer machines, but retains a Factory-hosted control plane. The private deployment therefore changes where the platform's management layer and data reside, not merely where code executes. The announcement also offers air-gapped configurations and access through customers' model providers or gateways. It describes Private Preview availability.
