Trinity is moving to OpenMDW-1.1

https://t.co/tExWpQATCQ

Context

Arcee AI said in a single-line post that Trinity's weights are moving to OpenMDW-1.1, without further explanation there. OpenMDW is a license the Linux Foundation built specifically for AI systems, together with Amazon, Meta, IBM and Microsoft, and which it later submitted to the Open Source Initiative for formal open-source recognition. Rather than applying an ordinary software license to a model's weights, OpenMDW-1.1 covers a model's architecture, training data and weights under one document, and the Linux Foundation says it grants an unrestricted, royalty-free license to use, modify and redistribute the covered materials across copyright, patent, database and trade-secret rights. NVIDIA separately adopted the same license for its Cosmos, Isaac GR00T, Ising and Nemotron model families.
