Context
Deepgram's Flux Multilingual for Restaurants is designed to recognize customers who switch languages while ordering. The company describes one model covering ten languages, including English and Spanish, that handles switching within a sentence. Its restaurant announcement says existing Flux English integrations can adopt it by setting the model to flux-general-multi.
The intended benefit is continuity: an order containing words from multiple languages can stay within one recognition stream. Deepgram itself says the harder work is making recognition fit POS (point-of-sale) systems, menu data and difficult deployments, which it offers through its restaurant service. Language coverage alone does not complete that integration.
