Black Forest Labs introduced two different controls for FLUX1.1 pro: Ultra increases image resolution, while Raw changes the intended visual style. The November 2024 announcement says Ultra generates images up to four megapixels, four times the resolution of the standard mode.
Raw is described as a setting for a more candid photographic appearance. A creator choosing between these capabilities is deciding about output size and aesthetic treatment separately: higher resolution supplies more pixels, while Raw is intended to alter how the generated image looks.
