GLM-5.3 is 50% off through DigitalOcean on AI Gateway

Vercel's GLM-5.3 promotion illustrates how a discounted model name can change service behavior. The offer through September 8, 2026 used zai/glm-5.3-promo-50, which routed exclusively to DigitalOcean, provided no provider fallback and was scheduled to stop serving when the offer ended. The standard zai/glm-5.3 name could instead prefer that provider while retaining fallback and continuing at ordinary rates. The promotional identifier was therefore a temporary deployment choice, not a durable substitute for the standard name. Offer terms.
