Sites is now generally available for Enterprise, with US and EU data residency for new Sites in eligible workspaces. Build team apps with databases and authentication. @kagigz shows how to schedule updates and let teammates use their own connected data with Plugins in Sites:
Context
The residency detail in OpenAI's Sites announcement concerns where new Sites are hosted and stored. Its workspace documentation says new Sites in workspaces with US or EU data residency use that region for supported storage and hosting. Existing Sites are not automatically moved, and regional hosting is separate from where model takes place.
Access to connected data is another control. A shared Site can use a visitor's connected account only with the required permissions and that visitor's approval; the approval does not extend to background scheduled tasks. Those distinctions matter for team apps: choosing a hosting region, sharing an app and authorizing access to personal connected data are separate decisions.
