Palmyra models arrive on Google Cloud Vertex AI

Today, we’re excited to deepen our partnership with Google Cloud, expanding access to our Palmyra family of enterprise-grade large language models. Palmyra will be added to Google Cloud Partners’ Vertex platform, allowing builders to easily access our model via API and integrate with other GCP services. Vertex AI, part of Google Cloud, is a fully managed, unified AI development platform embedded into the workflows of many enterprises. Learn more about our strategic partnership:
Context
WRITER's October 2025 cloud announcement has a specific deployment model behind it. Google Cloud's launch article lists Palmyra X4 among proprietary models that customers can license and deploy through Vertex AI Model Garden into their own virtual private cloud. Customers choose the deployment configuration and create a model endpoint within that environment. The useful change is a route to operate this model alongside existing cloud infrastructure; the named launch offering was Palmyra X4, rather than every member of the Palmyra family.
