Anima (AnimaApp) is a design-to-code platform that converts Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch designs into production-ready React, Vue, or HTML code, and now offers AI-agent-driven app generation from designs, URLs, or prompts. It was founded in Tel Aviv in 2017 by Avishay Cohen, Michal Cohen, and Or Arbel — Cohen and Arbel had previously worked together at Mobli, with Arbel also known for the messaging app Yo — and the company went through Y Combinator's Summer 2018 batch. Anima's engine is also integrated into third-party tools such as Bolt.new and Replit.
