David Kennedy is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served two tours in Iraq conducting cyber warfare and signals intelligence operations before joining the NSA's cyberwarfare division and later serving as Chief Security Officer of Diebold. He went on to found TrustedSec, a leading penetration testing and security consultancy, and co-found Binary Defense, a managed detection and response firm, and has testified before Congress multiple times on national cybersecurity threats.
