Career
Ammar’s résumé lists a software-engineer role at TechnoNext from July 2024 and a junior role from December 2022 through September 2024. His projects include flight-crew scheduling dashboards, a notification service and a seller storefront builder. He holds a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from United International University, with study listed from June 2016 through December 2021.[2]
Contributions
Tinycast combines fuzzy application search with clipboard history, quicklinks, snippets and other commands in a native SwiftUI and AppKit interface. Its file search uses Spotlight rather than maintaining a separate index. It also documents running Raycast extensions through a native presentation, so users can carry existing workflows into the launcher.[3]
Ideas
The repository describes AI chat and text-rewriting actions as optional features, disabled initially. They require a user’s own credentials or an installed AI account. The launcher also includes ordinary local tools such as dictionaries and Markdown notes. That lets a user decide which tasks need a model service and which can remain straightforward desktop actions.[3]
