Agentspan is an open-source project from Orkes, a company co-founded by the engineers who built Netflix Conductor — the workflow orchestration engine running billions of executions in production at Netflix, LinkedIn, and Tesla. Orkes brought that durable-execution expertise to AI agents, giving developers a crash-safe runtime that persists agent state outside the process and supports human-in-the-loop workflows across major agent frameworks.
