Cloudinary is a cloud-based image and video management platform founded in 2012 in Israel by Itai Lahan (CEO), Tal Lev-Ami (CTO), and Nadav Soferman (CPO), who met while serving in an Israeli intelligence unit. The company grew profitably before opening U.S. headquarters in California, and its API-first platform for media upload, transformation, optimization, and delivery is now used by over a million developers and thousands of enterprises.
