Confident AI is a San Francisco-based company that builds an enterprise LLM evaluation and observability platform, positioned as the commercial layer on top of its open-source DeepEval framework. It was founded in 2024 by CEO Jeffrey Ip, a former Google and Microsoft software engineer, and co-founder Kritin Vongthongsri, a Princeton computer science and operations research graduate. The company went through Y Combinator's Winter 2025 batch and is based in San Francisco.
