Ghostty

2 Tools

Ghostty is a terminal emulator for macOS and Linux, which its documentation describes as fast, feature-rich and native, started by Mitchell Hashimoto as a passion project. Its interfaces use each platform's native toolkit, Swift with AppKit and SwiftUI on macOS and GTK4 on Linux, around a shared core written in Zig called libghostty. Since December 2025 the project has been fiscally sponsored by Hack Club, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit.
