honojs is the GitHub organization for Hono, a small open-source web framework built on Web Standards that runs on JavaScript runtimes including Cloudflare Workers, Deno, Bun, AWS Lambda and Node.js. Yusuke Wada began building it in December 2021 to write Cloudflare Workers applications. Cloudflare now uses Hono internally, including for D1's internal Web API and Workers Logs. The organization also maintains HonoX, third-party middleware and a Hono CLI made for AI coding agents.
