jenkinsci is the main GitHub organization of the Jenkins community, home to Jenkins core, its plugins, libraries and developer tools. Jenkins is an open-source automation server for building, testing and deploying software, with more than 2,000 plugins. Created by Kohsuke Kawaguchi as Hudson, the project was renamed Jenkins by a community vote in January 2011 after a dispute with Oracle over the Hudson name. It is released under the MIT License.
