jenkinsci is the GitHub organization of Jenkins, the open-source automation server used for continuous integration and delivery. It was created by Kohsuke Kawaguchi and took the Jenkins name in 2011, when the community voted to fork the project from Hudson after a trademark dispute with Oracle. Distributed under the MIT License, it is known for a plugin ecosystem spanning most build and deployment tools, and the organization hosts several thousand repositories, most of them plugins. Jenkins has been a Continuous Delivery Foundation project since 2019 and reached graduated status there in 2020.
