Kevin Gu is a co-founder of Thirdlayer, a San Francisco company from Y Combinator's Winter 2025 batch that describes its work as continual learning for enterprise AI. Y Combinator's founder listing says Gu previously studied math and statistics at Harvard and worked as a quant and ML researcher at Jump Trading, IBM Research, QuantCo and Meta. Gu's GitHub profile links to thirdlayer.inc and pins AutoAgent, an MIT-licensed project for autonomous agent-harness engineering that is now hosted under the thirdlayerinc organization.
