Langfuse GmbH is a Berlin-based open-source AI engineering company founded in 2022 by Marc Klingen, Maximilian Deichmann, and Clemens Rawert — a team of experienced software engineers and ex-founders. In 2025, Langfuse was acquired by ClickHouse, the open-source real-time analytics database company, while retaining its open-source commitments and self-hosting focus.
