Maziyar Panahi is a principal AI/ML engineer and team lead at John Snow Labs, where he leads development of Spark NLP, one of the most widely used natural language processing libraries in the enterprise. He specializes in deploying deep learning and machine learning models at production scale on the JVM and Apache Spark, spanning classic ML, language models, speech recognition, and computer vision. He has been a lead contributor across major Spark NLP releases, including versions that added ONNX runtime support and large multilingual model libraries.
