Muzzammil builds software as humblemuzzu. His dumbtv project changes a Fire TV’s installed packages, settings and home screen through ADB, aiming to reduce advertising, tracking and interface clutter without rooting the device.[1][3]

His GitHub project account also publishes terminal-agent tools, screenshot measurement utilities and an Omarchy control interface. He describes these as things he builds for his own use. In dumbtv’s account, an agent-assisted fix for one television became scripts that other owners could inspect, run and report results from.[1][3]
Contributions
Start with a reversible device configuration
The project grew from his own Fire TV cleanup. Its workflow first inspects the device, records its settings and asks which features the owner wants to keep. It disables packages rather than modifying the system partition, applies privacy settings and can install a minimal home screen. The restoration script uses the saved configuration to reverse those changes.[3]
Distinguish disabling a service from blocking its connection
Some services cannot be disabled normally. The project uses an on-device DNS filter to block selected advertising, telemetry and update destinations, while preserving the owner’s chosen apps and features. Its device catalog distinguishes tested configurations from partial reports; other television platforms have different access restrictions.[4]

Check the device catalog and read the changes and restore instructions first. Setup needs a supported TV, a computer with ADB and permission to connect; the DNS filter also blocks normal Fire OS updates while enabled.
