DAB maps each two-by-four dot cell to the Unicode Braille range. Active dots set bits in a mask, which is added to the starting code point. Drawing tools, mirrored strokes, duplicated frames and onion-skin previews help construct an animation. Exports include Braille text and frame arrays for JavaScript, Python, Rust and C. The app uses plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, stores work locally and can run by opening its index file.[7]

github.comA browser editor for drawing dot patterns, sequencing frames and exporting terminal-friendly text animations.
Open the demo and draw a few cells before adding a second frame. No build tools are needed for the editor; use an exported frame array to integrate an animation into your own terminal program.
