Peter Steinberger is an Austrian developer who studied at Vienna University of Technology and founded PSPDFKit in 2010, building it into a PDF processing engine used by nearly a billion users. After exiting the company, he returned to building in the AI era and created OpenClaw, an open-source personal AI agent that became one of the fastest-growing repositories in GitHub history. He joined OpenAI in February 2026, while OpenClaw transitioned to independent foundation governance.

Autoreview is a pre-commit/pre-ship code review skill for coding agents that runs a bundled structured review helper on a diff, defaulting to a Codex model (falling back to a secondary model if unavailable) with optional Claude support. It reports only blocking (P0) issues by default and is explicitly advisory, meant to be paired with a separate source-blind behavior-validation skill for checking actual runtime behavior.
