Suno is an AI music-generation company founded in 2022 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, by Mikey Shulman, Georg Kucsko, Martin Camacho, and Keenan Freyberg, former colleagues at the AI startup Kensho. Its platform lets users generate full songs from text prompts, and the company has raised roughly $775M from investors including Menlo Ventures and Bond Capital at a multibillion-dollar valuation, despite ongoing lawsuits from major record labels over training data.
