TypeORM is an open-source object-relational mapping (ORM) library for TypeScript and JavaScript, supporting Node.js, browsers, and platforms such as Cordova, Ionic, and Electron. It was created in 2016 by Umed Khudoiberdiev and works with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQLite, SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational databases via both Active Record and Data Mapper patterns. In late 2024, original maintainers Umed Khudoiberdiev and Dmitry Zotov handed stewardship to a new team led by David Höck and Michael Bromley.
