context-tax is a command line tool that reads Claude Code session transcripts to show what is sent to the model on every turn before you type, what that costs, and which tools and skills you never used. It also counts skills that reached the agent only as bare names because of the description budget, and a fix command suggests how to turn off unused items. It runs with npx, has no runtime dependencies, makes no LLM calls and sends no telemetry.
