Meet the new Kimi Browser Extension, formerly Kimi WebBridge. From your browser sidebar, you can chat with Kimi to navigate websites, fill out forms, and get things done. For repetitive tasks, record your steps once and save them as a skill. Kimi can take it from there next time. Available now on https://t.co/3u29cgYcJQ and the Chrome Web Store.
Context
Moonshot AI's Kimi assistant has a new browser extension, renamed from its earlier preview version, Kimi WebBridge. Installed in the sidebar of Chrome, it lets a user type an instruction and have Kimi navigate to sites, click through pages and fill out forms on the user's behalf, rather than only summarizing what is on screen.
The extension's other function is recording: a user can walk Kimi through a task once, save that recorded sequence as a named , and call on it again later so Kimi replays the same steps without being told each one again. Moonshot AI has not published a technical account of how reliably the extension executes on real sites or where it fails, so how it holds up on complex, multi-page workflows outside a demo is not established by this launch post.
- agent skill — A reusable instruction file that teaches an agent how to do one job well — the procedure, the tools, and what counts as done.
- AI agent — An AI system that doesn't just answer once but works toward a goal in a loop — taking actions, reading the results, and deciding what to do next.
