AFM-4.5B leaves preview with open weights on Hugging Face

Today, we’re excited to officially take AFM-4.5B out of preview and release the weights of both AFM-4.5B and AFM-4.5B-Base on @huggingface. This marks a major milestone for our team at @arcee_ai as we open up access to a new, enterprise-grade language model designed for both flexibility and performance across a wide range of deployment environments. Context
Arcee took AFM-4.5B out of preview and published for both the finished, instruction-tuned model and AFM-4.5B-Base, the pretrained checkpoint that precedes instruction tuning, on Hugging Face.
Releasing the base checkpoint alongside the finished model gives researchers a version whose behavior has not been shaped by the additional post-training steps, instruction tuning and reinforcement learning, that AFM-4.5B itself already went through. That matters for anyone who wants to from an earlier point in the training process rather than build directly on top of Arcee's own finished assistant.
