Vercel's XChat adapter lets a Chat SDK bot participate in encrypted individual and group conversations while the adapter handles encryption, key management and signature verification. A bot can initiate a conversation only when the recipient has encrypted chat configured and follows the bot. Developers therefore get a supported messaging path with explicit conditions on who can be contacted. Release announcement.
The adapter also translates responses into XChat's available presentation formats. Cards become text with a link preview, and incremental responses appear through message edits. That lets the bot reuse Chat SDK interactions while adapting their display to the messaging service.
