About

words2pixel turns each word of an essay into one pixel, with the word's letter count choosing the shade. The demo is an 8,000-word essay, written by Claude agents under that constraint, whose pixels form a portrait of a well-known person. Visitors can type their own text, choose a 2-shade or 4-shade mapping, and share a link or download a PNG. The essay stays in the browser until a link is copied.
