Run multiple isolated agents in a single Sandbox

Context

Vercel lets several agents share one while keeping separate private working directories. Each runs commands and file operations as its own Linux user. Developers can then give selected agents access to a shared directory through group membership. This supports a coder and reviewer exchanging project files without opening their private directories to each other. The SDK update makes that boundary configurable within a single Sandbox.

  • AI agent — An AI system that doesn't just answer once but works toward a goal in a loop — taking actions, reading the results, and deciding what to do next.
