Timeline is an open-source, AI-assisted project planner built around a canvas-rendered Gantt view that lets users drag, resize, zoom, and pan tasks while dependency arrows and the critical path are computed automatically. It also offers a status-grouped board view, a mobile list view, team/role-based project sharing, reusable templates, and a documented Django/DRF REST API behind a React frontend, with canvas rendering used instead of DOM/SVG to keep panning smooth with hundreds of events.
