Three Years from GPT-3 to Gemini 3

A coding agent can turn a research request into a sequence of computer tasks. Ethan Mollick gave Gemini 3 in Antigravity access to his newsletter archive and asked for a website assessing his past predictions. He reports that it read the files, proposed a plan, researched the predictions, built the site and checked it in a browser. His account describes him editing the plan and reviewing the results.

The useful change was the combination of research and implementation under one assignment. Mollick communicated the objective in ordinary language while the agent used code to carry it out. His remaining corrections concerned choices and interpretations, showing why a visible plan and review points mattered to his sense of control.
