Comic Chat for AI is a Windows-compatible fork of Microsoft's 1990s Comic Chat client that renders conversations with ChatGPT as comic strips, using the original panel, speech-balloon, avatar, and emotion renderer. The AI is prompted to emote using Comic Chat's original UI conventions so replies appear as expressive comic panels instead of plain text.
Why it made the leaderboard
It turns a chat with an AI model into a nostalgic comic-strip interface, a genuinely fun and unusual way to present agent conversations rather than a plain chat window.
