Context

Vercel's coding can work in a shared Slack code channel, where teammates follow its progress, add instructions and review its changes. Its public-beta announcement describes bringing an existing conversation's into the channel and posting relevant logs, errors and code differences as work proceeds.

Participation in the conversation does not itself authorize changes. Vercel says the agent starts read-only, stays within the requester's permissions and presents a plan for approval before changing anything. It records the requester, approver and action. This lets a team coordinate agent work in a shared discussion while retaining a separate approval step. The announced beta covers Pro and Enterprise teams.
