About
Runs VS Code inside the terminal by combining code-server with a terminal-based browser. Works over SSH, opens files at a line and column, compares files, splits panes, and imports settings, keybindings, snippets, and extensions from VS Code compatible editors.
Why it made the leaderboard
Editing over ssh still forces a choice between a terminal editor and a full remote-development setup. A VS Code compatible CLI collapses that choice for anyone whose work regularly lands on a remote box.
