About
Amber-8 is a small deterministic stack machine written in Rust that uses a local language model like an analog-to-digital converter. Three model instructions (ask, pck, scl) turn messy text into probabilities, choices or scale scores with a confidence value on the stack, and the rest of the program is ordinary arithmetic, comparisons and jumps. This keeps control flow auditable while the model only handles unstructured input. Example programs compile to bytecode under 2 KB.
