We audited our own OpenRouter account and found 1,000+ active API keys for 85 employees. Many hadn’t been used in months. 🫣 So we built the Security Center. It shows every key across your workspaces and flags which ones are risky and why. You can disable, archive, or cap up to 500 at once.
Context
OpenRouter's Security Center addresses the accumulation of API credentials across a team. The company says its own audit found more than 1,000 active keys for 85 employees, including many unused for months. Its announcement describes a cross-workspace view that identifies risky keys and explains the flags.
Teams can then disable, archive or cap as many as 500 keys together. The useful change is connecting a consolidated inventory to bulk cleanup, so finding neglected credentials can lead directly to action.
